Selina Doroshenko (she/her, b.1990, Tio:tia’ke/Montreal) is a multidisciplinary artist with her output focused on pattern, text and movement as slices of daily life. Her work is heavily influenced by her background in fiber and music. Deconstruction, abstraction and elevating the everyday are paramount techniques in Doroshenko’s work. Doroshenko’s work has been shown internationally in Canada, Dubai and the United States. She lives in Baltimore, Maryland on Piscataway and Nanticoke land with her rescue pup Ceej. Her work is in the Joanne Gold collection and the Capital One Art Collection.
